Two men arrested after officers find drugs and £2,840 in Blackwater

Two men have been arrested after officers located drugs and £2,840 following a proactive stop in Blackwater yesterday.

Officers were patrolling the area when they noticed suspicious activity linked to a white BMW on London Road at around 3.30pm.

They stopped the vehicle and located cannabis and £2,840 in cash. All items, including two mobile phones, were seized at the scene.

A 27-year-old man from Yateley has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B, acquiring / using / possessing criminal property and driving a vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence.

A 35-year-old man from Owlsmoor has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B and acquiring / using / possessing criminal property.

They remain in custody while our enquiries continue.
